Chidambaram in Pakistan for talks

| Islamabad, June 25: Home Minister P. Chidambaram today arrived here to take part in the SAARC home ministers' conference and to hold talks with Pakistani Interior Minister Rehman Malik.
Wearing his trademark spotless white shirt and dhoti, he was received at the Chakala airbase in Islamabad by Malik, dressed in business-like suit.
Talks between the two ministers are expected to focus on issues related to terrorism.
The South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) groups Bangladesh, Bhutan, the Maldives, Nepal, India, Pakistan, Afghanistan and Sri Lanka. (IANS) |
