Pakistan making use of militants in its strategy against India: US |

| Washington: US has come upfront in blurting out the facts they have gathered about Pakistan as America's intelligence chief told a Senate committee that the later continues to make use of the militants in its strategy against India.
While addressing the people during the Annual Threat Assessment meet, Director of National Intelligence expressed his concern about this policy adopted by Pakistan.
According to the Director Dennis Blair, Pakistan's strong belief that militant groups are an important part of its strategic plan to counter India's military and economic advantages does not help Pakistan's cause. He further added that Pakistan is creating an obstacle in its effort to pursue an effort against extremism.
Emphasizing on the fact that Pakistan remained in touch with Taliban-associated groups, which are responsible for conducting operations against US and other allied forces in Afghanistan. |
