New Delhi: The India-Pakistan delegation-level talks in New Delhi today turned out to be a favourable one for the former as India has been able to bring back the focus of the discussion on terrorism. According to the sources, India has asked Pakistan to arrest 26/11 terror attacks mastermind Hafiz Saeed. India has reportedly brought up the issues related to terrorism with the emphasis on Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) chief Hafiz Saeed. The discussion, which went on for hours, mainly centered on Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK) and JuD leader Abdur Rehman Makki.

India's Foreign Secretary Nirupama Rao has asked her Pakistani counterpart Salman Bashir to take stringent action against Hafiz Saeed as no considerable action has been taken against him despite repeated assurances given by the Pakistan government.

Reports further reveal that Pakistan has promised action against Saeed and stated their concern for the same.

Director-general of the South Asia division and a former deputy high commissioner to India, Afrasiab was also present during the talks along with Pakistan's High Commissioner Shahid Malik.
