| New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh has directed all the ministers to give adequate time for MPs who desire to discuss issues related to people. This is being done to address the rising grievances of MPs regarding the inaccessibility of few ministers.
The PM notified this in writing to all the state government and union ministers to remain reachable to the MPs.
He also said that one of the chief responsibilities of MPs is to report the grievances of their respective constituencies and therefore, the ministers must coordinate with the MPs to enable them carry out their responsibilities successfully. |
