New Delhi: After playing a convict in Madhur Bhandarkar's "Jail", Bollywood actor Aarya Babbar is now excited about being a cop in Farah Khan's light-hearted film "Tees Maar Khan".

The 28-year-old son of veteran actor and politician Raj Babbar will play a village inspector in the movie.

"I'm extremely excited about shooting for 'Tees Maar Khan' as it's my first time at comedy and being directed by Farah Khan. It's funny that in 'Jail', I played a convict and in 'Tees Maar Khan' I play an inspector' life has its own screenplay I say," Aarya said in a press release.

"But it's a great feeling as I am trying different genres and this is definitely going to be a step ahead in my career," he added.

The actor, who played Aishwarya Rai's brother in "Guru", says he is having a lot of fun working with Farah, who is also co-producing the movie along with the film's lead actor Akshay Kumar.

"Farah is a chilled out and a complete actor's director. All in all she is an absolute delight to work with," he said.

The movie is expected to release towards the end of this year. (IANS)
