| New Delhi: Bollywood actor Aamir Khan continues to flow in the wave of success as this time the actor has got real reasons to celebrate. On the occasion of 60th Republic Day, the bollywood actor has been selected for the prestigious Padma Bhushan award. This news is an added feather to his crown as the master actor has been basking in the success of his latest release, 3 Idiots.
He has been in the news for his remarkable contribution in the field of film industry and he has rightly impressed people with his acting and directing skills, as in Taare Zameena Par.
On the flip side, Bollywood diva Rekha has been chosen for the Padma Shri award. Besides Rekha, Saif Ali Khan has also been selected for the same award.
It is to be noted that legendary cricketer Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi, who happens to be Saif's father, has also won the Padma Shri award in 1967. Cricketer Virender Sehwag and badminton star Saina Nehwal are the others who won this prestigious award. |
