DMK, AIADMK candidates file nominations for by-polls |

| Chennai: Candidates of DMK and AIADMK contesting the Vandavasi and Tiruchendur assembly bypolls in Tamil Nadu filed their nominations today.
In Vandavasi, AIADMK's Munusamy, DMK's Kamalakannan and DMDK's S. Ranganathan filed their nominations for the Dec 19 poll.
In Tiruchendur, DMK's Anita Radhakrishnan, AIADMK's Amman Narayanan and DMDK's Gomathy Ganesan filed their papers.
While the DMK will be supported by the Congress, the AIADMK candidates will be supported by the left parties and MDMK.
However, the DMDK is going on its own without any support.
PMK, the other major political party, has asked its cadres not to vote. (IANS) |
