IIM-B is voted No.1 B-school once again |

| Bangalore: The Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore has done it again. For the second consecutive year, this premier management institute has been labeled as the No. 1 business school in India. The ranking was conducted by Eduniversal, a unit of a French consulting firm.
Eduniversal Palmes 2009 has awarded '5 Palmes' to IIM-B, which is the highest recognition awarded to the universal business schools having influence across the world.
IIM-B now figures among the 100 best business schools in the world with the deans of the 1,000 top business schools across 153 nations voting for IIM-B. The recommendation rate for this B-school was 395 per thousand. IIM Ahmedabad follows second with a recommendation rate of 345.
Expressing his delight on getting the recognition, Professor Pankaj Chandra, director, IIM-B asserted that the whole IIM-B fraternity is happy to get recognized as India's top management institute. He further added that the institute is outing a concerted effort to develop the quality of learning in order to assure that IIM-B continues to be the preferred management school for students. |
