IIM-A revives its placements system in 2010

Ahmedabad: The authorities of IIM-Ahmedabad is planning to bring about a change in its existing placement system. The top business school of the nation has planned to shift to the "cohort-based placement" system from February, 2010 onwards.

With the implementation of the new system, all the placements and recruitments will be organized in the week-ends at a stretch.

The first cohort-based placement session will commence from the 2nd week of February, 2010.

The revival of the placement system has been planned because of the rising number of students, especially after the introduction of the quota.
