Walt Disney enters IIM-A campus as a recruiter |

| Ahmedabad: After going through a phase of prolonged meltdown things are falling in places for the IIMs. It was a surprise for the management institute when for the first time Walt Disney entered the campus as recruiters. It is also for the first time that Mickey Mouse creator selected interns from Asia's best B-school for summer placements this year for the marketing jobs.
There is more good news in store for this esteemed B-school in India as Disney is expected to be back for the final placements to between February and March next year.
According to the reports, Walt Disney has forayed into various segments including Disney merchandise, parks, and food, apart from being a long time player as the producer of family entertainment.
On the first day of summer placement, media groups like Starcom Media Vest, HT Media and Star TV were also among the recruiters like.
Besides the regular recruiters like Dabur, Asian Paints, and Cadbury's, some realty companies like Oberoi Construction and Ramky Infrastructure also joined in the list of recruiters this year. |
