IIM-A summer placements end in just 4 days |

| Ahmedabad: It came as a relief to the premier B-school in India as the entire batch of 2009-11 management students of IIM- Ahmadabad got summer placements and that too within a span of 4 days. This is a record for this B-School, which had placed its students within six days last year.
What seemed almost impossible for the IIM -A even a month ago, has now become a reality.
While about 44 per cent of 312 students have chosen finance jobs in corporate banking, investment banking and private equity, 18 percent chose marketing jobs.
General management and Consulting were other two preferred segments for the students along with IT.
Investment banks selected 77 students from IIM-A, as against mere 35 last year. Royal Bank of Scotland is the largest recruiter as the company has picked 12 students during the process for Singapore, London and Hong Kong. Tata Administrative Services has selected 10 candidates.
