| Sydney: Indian students are now dropping the idea of going to Australia for pursuing their education, in view of the recent incidents of racial attacks on Indians. This has become a matter of great concern for many Australian universities.
In order to solve this issue, Sydney has now geared up to promote itself to Indian students. It has now posed its state, the New South Wales region as one of the safest destinations of education for Indian students.
Sydney has also pointed out that in comparison to Melbourne, the number of racial attack incidents are very less here and when it comes to pursuing higher education, the New South Wales region is one of the most safest places for students coming from abroad, especially India.
It has been decided that ministers will be sent from Sydney to India to advise education counselors to refer Indian students regarding pursuing their education in NSW. They have also said that safe accommodation will be arranged for the Indian students in the state. |
