Right to Education becomes fundamental right |

| New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today dedicated the Right to Education (RTE) act to the nation terming it as a fundamental right and urged every Indian to make the country strong through education.
"The act comes into effect from today. Our government comes before you to pledge right to free and compulsory education (to all children)," the prime minister said in his address to the nation. (IANS) |
