| Mumbai, Sep 2: India may have introduced different advancements and improved methodologies in education. But the basic foundation on which these improvements were introduced turned out to be weak. It is in fact a shame for all of us that even 90 percent marks in 10th standard is not sufficient enough to ensure confirmed admission to a student in Mumbai junior colleges. Even after several sessions of online admission procedures, many school toppers are unable to get admitted in colleges although they have scored more than the cut-off marks.
Educationists, teachers and even parents have pointed out several reasons behind all this. College mismanagement and loopholes in online admission system are some of the major blunders that have caused these students to suffer.
Surveys prove that most of the students are not equipped enough to fill up the junior college application forms online. There were some students who didn't opt for the colleges assigned to them were ultimately driven out of the overall online admission procedure. |
