Disabled children will be specially benefited by RTE |

| New Delhi, April 16: Children suffering from autism, mental abnormality, cerebral palsy and other disabilities will be given more preference than others as per RTE (Right to Education) Act.
Under the regulations, disabled children belong to the age group of 6-14 years will have the right to avail free education. Moreover education has been made compulsory for all categories of children belonging to this age group under this act.
Those children who belong to backward communities like SC/ST or OBC category will be given major preference in comparison to others when it comes to availing free education. |
