| Patna, May 27: Bihar government has taken a step forward to reform the educational infrastructure of the state. Shortly, it will set up a call centre for hearing grievances pertaining to government educational schools and institutes and different welfare plans formulated for the students. Not only this, but the call centre will also show the status of the complaints registered with it.
It is an endeavor of the HRD (Human Resources Development) division of the state. It has already requested bids from enterprises for establishing the call centre. The state government would provide space for establishing the centre and compensate the service providers for their support services.
Under the scheme, the chosen agency will send its staffs to gather information from different government schools regarding the status of the institutes, total number of teachers and students present in a particular institute and others. The information will be passed on to the state headquarters. This will enable the authorities to process the data and undertake necessary reform measures. |
