India test fires missiles with nuclear capabilities |

| New Delhi: As per media sources India has test fired a couple of missiles that are capable of ferrying nuclear warheads. The test fires were done from a couple of separate locations at the Bay of Bengal, which is on the eastern coast of India.
The missiles named Dhanush and Prithvi-II have been tested successfully. This has been confirmed by S.P. Dash who is the director with the Integrated Test Range at Chandipur, Orissa.
The Prithvi-II can cover a distance of 295 kilometers whereas in case of Dhanush the distance is 350 kilometers. (IANS) |
