| New Delhi: Six fighter aircrafts and one helicopter of the Indian Air Force have crashed in the past six months, Defence Minister A.K. Antony told the Rajya Sabha today.
"In the past six months, six fighter aircraft and one helicopter of the IAF have crashed. Preliminary causes of the accidents were human error and technical defects," he said.
"Various measures to reduce aircraft accidents including operational risk management, crew resource management and improvised training on aviation safety have been implemented to generate a safer flying culture," he added. (IANS) |
