250-kg bomb falls off IAF plane near Pokhran, probe ordered

| New Delhi: An IAF aircraft averted a major accident today after a 250-kg bomb fell off the plane near Pokhran in Rajasthan. According to the reports, a Mirage 2000 aircraft, which belongs to the Indian Air Force, was on its usual operational flight when this bomb fell.
The report further revealed that the bomb fell off a Mirage 2000 aircraft and exploded near Pokhran in Rajasthan. However, no injury or death cases have been reported.
Such an incident has compelled the authority to order a court of inquiry to investigate the case and establish how did the bomb fell off the plane. |
