Minor girl raped consecutively for two years |

| Mumbai:: Shocking incidents of rape and torture have perhaps become a common phenomenon in India with the government undertaking minimum measures to prevent such crimes against women.
This time a minor girl of 12 years of age was raped consecutively by several men, one of them who happens to be her cousin. The other criminals consisted of her neighbors including a man aged 71 years.
The victim resides with her aunt at a slum in Mumbai. After the girl's parents got divorced she was sent there.
Since the past 2 years her cousin used to take her to different hotels of Mumbai, after her school got over, where he along with the remaining others raped her repetitively. To make things worse, they made an MMS clip of the entire rape incident and blackmailed her to circulate the clip if she complained.
Unable to bear the oppression further, the girl narrated the entire incident to her relative who filed a compliant at the nearest police station. Police arrested four people till now but the others, including her cousin have escaped. |
