Sensex ends flat |

| Mumbai, June 23: A key index for Indian equities today closed flat in choppy and lacklustre trade.
The 30-scrip sensitive index (Sensex) of the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), which opened at 17,694.87 points, shut shop at 17,759.78 points (provisional), 10.09 points or 0.06 percent up from its previous close at 17,749.69 points.
At the National Stock Exchange (NSE), the broader 50-share S&P CNX Nifty ended at 5,328.25 points, up 0.22 percent from its previous close at 5,316.55 points.
Broader markets were in gains with the BSE midcap index ending 0.9 percent higher and the BSE smallcap index 0.71 percent up. (IANS) |
