Indian railways planning to remodel its web portal

| New Delhi: The Indian Railways have planned to redesign its online portal to enhance its interaction with customers and passengers. At present, the portal records around 1.5 crore user clicks daily.
The railway authorities asserted that the idea behind the initiative to redesign the portal is to provide necessary information to tourists and passengers who rely on Indian Railways for travel related services in India.
To initiate the work, qualified web designers were appointed to complete the website redesigning task. The authorities of the Indian Railways claim that their portal ranks second among the most searched websites in India. The ultimate presentation of the new website has been scheduled for March 30. |
