| New Delhi, June 30: If you are wondering what is it that Google plans to bring out big in the web world then it is none other than 'Google Me'. Touted as the Facebook rival, 'Google Me' is expected to be a more enriched version of social networking sites.
It is to be noted that Google haven't had a very happy tryst with the social networking domain as both Orkut and Google Buzz don't get the desired attention from the target users.
Presently, the experts are contesting the possibility of Google bringing in a new tool to throw challenge to Facebook. However, they believe that developing 'Goggle Me' won't be a tough proposition for this search engine giant as it already has around 30 different social properties, which include Google Docs, YouTube, Google Friends, Connect, Picassa, and others.
The experts believe that Google has almost every component needed to build a substitute for Facebook and it needs to create a common platform for all the networks.
During the last weekend, Digg founder Kevin Rose posted a tweet about this huge rumor adding that Google will soon launch Facebook competitor and the news as come from a credible source.
However, on the flip side, analysts are skeptical about the feasibility of this probable initiative as they are of the belief that Google will not really like to take on Facebook, which has already covered enough ground in this domain. |
