| Vadodara, April 16: The CEO of the Centennial Group and Emerging Markets Forum, Harinder Kohli, has stated that by 2039 India should become the second major world economy.
He made these comments while interacting with the media. He also stressed on the need for a proper frame work of economic policies whereby the rate of economic growth of India could be sustained. He also opined that if India wanted to accomplish the economic goals it had set for itself it needed to adopt a progressive approach.
Kohli also felt that areas such as energy, human capital development, urbanisation and regional affluence were extremely crucial to Indias economic growth. He said if these areas could be looked at properly the effects would percolate to a wider cross section of the society. |
