Reliance power net up 26 percent |

| Mumbai: Electricity generation and distribution major Reliance Power, part of the Reliance Dhirubhai Ambani group, today reported a 26.4 percent increase in net profits at Rs.133.64 crore for the quarter ended on Dec 31, compared to Rs.105.68 crore in the year-ago period.
Total income of the company also rose 36.44 percent at Rs.179.15 crore for the quarter under review, compared to Rs.131.3 crore in the year-ago period.
The results, came in after the stock exchanges closed. The company's scrip ended 0.86 percent up at Rs.145.95 at the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Reliance Power's cash balance at the end of the quarter stood at Rs.9,439 crore. (IANS) |
