McNally Bharat bags $25.25 mn order in Zambia

Kolkata, May 4: City-based engineering firm McNally Bharat Engineering Company Ltd has been awarded a project worth $25.25 million (Rs.113 crore) by the Konkola Copper Mines, a unit of Vedanta, in Nehanga, Zambia, a company statement said here today.

The contract involves designing, engineering, manufacturing, supply, erection, testing and commissioning of West Mill Copper Concentrator Plant & East Mill Flotation Circuit on EPC (engineering, procurement and construction) basis, it said.

The rated capacity of the West Mill plant is 330 TPH while the East Mill plants will undergo a capacity augmentation from 600 TPH to 900 TPH. The schedule completion of facilities is 12 months. (IANS)
