Bharta Forge net profit rises 138 percent |

| Mumbai: Forged and machined components manufacturer Bhart Forge today said its net profit for the quarter ended on Sep 30 rose 138.48 percent to Rs.26.8 crore from Rs.11.25 crore in the like period last fiscal.
However, total income of the company fell to Rs.433.55 crore in the quarter under review, compared to Rs.685.78 crore a year ago.
The company's earnings from its core forging business fell sharply to Rs.426.64 crore from Rs.673.67 crore it made in the like quarter last fiscal.
Part of the Kalyani group, Bharat Forge is a $2.4-billion company with operations across 12 locations and six countries. (IANS) |
