Sterlite Industries net profit dips 42 percent |

| Mumbai: Vedanta group firm Sterlite Industries on Wednesday reported a 42 percent fall in its net profit for the quarter ended on June 30 to Rs.672.6 crore as against Rs.1,151 crore in the like period last year.
The total income fell 19 percent to Rs.4,957.1 crore from Rs.6,172.5 crore, the company said in a statement.
On a standalone basis, the company posted a net profit of Rs.112.7 crore during the quarter as against Rs.357.9 crore a year ago, posting a dip of 68 percent.(IANS) |
