Chennai: City-based engineering, procurement and construction company BGR Energy Systems Ltd has bagged three orders worth Rs.45 crore, taking its order book position to Rs.12,200 crore, the company said today.

The new orders consist of 72 bundles of air heaters from CTCI Corp, a Taiwanese engineering and construction company, and air cooled heat exchangers for the Guru Gobind Singh refinery project in Punjab and Essar Oil Ltd's Vadinar refinery expansion project.

According to BGR Energy, the Essar Oil order is in lieu of its earlier order for supply of fin tube bundles for the same project.

In August 2008, Essar Oil contracted for supply of 169 numbers of fin tube bundles. Later, it modified the contract and ordered for air cooled heat exchangers. (IANS)
