LG unveils 'P300' - its new ultra slim notebook series |

New Delhi: Life's Good (LG) India on Monday unveiled its new ultra slim and light 13.3 inch model of premium notebook 'P300' series in view of style oriented young Indians. The notebook weighs only 1.6 kg and is extremely slim with a thickness of only 21mm. Not just for looks, the P300 lives up to its reputation in the performance arena as well. "Consumers today are looking for the right mix of great features and amazing looks while purchasing laptops.The latest offering combines together light design with high portability. It is clearly the right choice for the active business professionals of today," said Anil Arora, Group Head of LG Electronics, India while launching the series.
This new series boasts an Nvidia(R) Geforce(R) 8400M graphics chip, 4GB DDR2 memory, and a 250GB SATA type hard disk drive, all on top of a 2.1GHz Intel(R) Core?2 Duo Processor. And with the maximum 3MB L2 cache, the performance gets elevated to a new level. The LED Back-Light LCD brings a clearer screen for 3D gaming, video and picture viewing owing to enhanced brightness and contrast ratio. It also embibes 1.3 mega pixel webcam and realistic sound reproducing Surround System (SRS) high-output stereo speakers. The cover is offered in two colors: Black Rose and Wine Rose.
The notebook is available in the Indian market for Rs 75000 which is slightly costlier than the other available models of similar configuration. In same series, one can find Toshiba's Portege M800X-3430 which is priced at Rs 71,999. Although models from Sony VAIO, Lenovo, Compaq and HP with similar features will cost same or a little higher than this. |
