TVS Motor logs 36 percent sales growth in June |

| Chennai, July 1: Two wheeler manufacturer TVS Motor Company has clocked a 36 percent increase in sales last month as compared to the volume it logged in June 2009.
The company last month sold 156,685 two wheelers (domestic 139,905 units, exports 16,780 units) as against 115,448 units (domestic 105,361 units, exports 10,087 units) in June 2009.
Within the two wheeler segment, TVS Motor sold 66,452 motorcycles, 36,742 scooters and 53,491 mopeds last month. In June 2009, the company had sold 46,048 motorcycles, 25,945 scooters and 43,455 mopeds.
It sold 3,003 three-wheelers last month, up from 810 units in June 2009. (IANS) |
