| Chennai, May 1: Ford India will start a second shift at its Maraimalainagar plant near here from June to meet the growing demand for its small car Figo, company managing director Michael Boneham said today.
For Ford India, Figo is building volumes and the order book position is over 15,000 units nearly two months after its launch.
The company's portfolio includes other models like Endeavour, Fiesta and Ikon.
Last month Ford India sold 7,509 units compared to 2,034 units in April 2009.
It did not reveal model wise sales figures unlike many of its competitors. (IANS) |
