Bookings commence for Harley Davidson motorcycles in India |

| New Delhi, April 20: World-famous bike manufacturing giant Harley Davidson is all set to launch its finest range of bikes in India. Bookings for these classy bikes have finally commenced. Harley will import motorcycles from its American manufacturing units and distribute them in India.
The renowned motorcycle makers have launched 12 luxury models from its 2010 series. The ex-showroom prices vary from Rs 6.95 lakh to Rs. 34.95 lakh and the bikes will be available in selected cities of India, namely; Bangalore, Mumbai, Hyderabad, Chandigarh and New Delhi.
In 2007, Harley-Davidson received approval for the very first time to launch their iconic bikes in India and carry on their business activities here. However, it postponed its operations after being imposed with a heavy import duty. Finally, it initiated its business in India last year. |
