| Chandigarh, July 23: Punjab police have issued an alert regarding the possibility of militant attack in New Delhi prior to the Commonwealth Games. Pakistan-based Sikh militants, close aide of the ISI, may carry out bomb blasts in the metro to create a terror situation.
The intelligence department of Punjab police has recently circulated an advisory among the senior officers. The advisory has pointed out that Sikh militant leaders operating from Pakistan are being pressurized by the ISI to carry out terror activities in India prior to the Games.
The advisory clearly stated that militant leaders like Khalistan Zindabad Force (KZF) chief Ranjit Singh Neeta intend to carry out militant activities, which include bomb blasts.
It also informs that 15 kg RDX has been smuggled into India from Pakistan. The RDX has been divided into three parts. However, most of the explosives have been seized by police. |
