Maoists ransack panchayat office in Orissa

| Bhubaneswar: Suspected Maoist rebels ransacked a panchayat office at Badadular in Orissa's Malkangir district early today, police said.
"About 25-30 Maoists ransacked the office at Badadular and burnt official documents. We are trying to reach there," Awinash Kumar, Malkangiri sub-divisional police officer, told media.
Malkangiri is more than 600 km from here. (IANS) |
